I really need to clean out my email. It is filling up so fast. I also need to find time to work on my WIPs and just get all things accomplished. Christmas is on the way and I just want to get through and enjoy the day with my kids and husband. We are almost finished making goodies and will be able to deliver to our 1st responders again. I need to make sure that we don't include any of the rum balls.

This is the tray of goodies we put out for our event today. Many canceled or couldn't attend, but we still went forward. Maybe one day people will decide to come out and visit, until then we will continue to put out a great spread, including a treat tray, of homemade treats.

On this tray you will find: buckeyes (regional treat), peanut butter fudge, chocolate fudge, peppermint fudge, rum balls (my dad's request), chocolate covered butter cookies, white chocolate covered sugar cookies, no bake cookies, chocolate M&M cookies, Peanut butter buckeye cookies.

This was a first time for fudge for the girls and I. We experimented and practiced and tried over and over to make fudge. This was a first time for making rum balls. We have made buckeyes in the past, but this time we were pushed for time and space, so they are a little smushed, but they are good. First time for chocolate or white chocolate covered cookies. We experimented with cookie recipes and adjusted and changed and played until we got a recipe we were happy with.
