Election Day is finally over for another 4 years

My cousin ran for office this year. He worked hard trying to get the word out that he was running and the changes he wanted to bring to his district (32). He ran a good race, a clean race and was out and about. He had many supporters who willingly wore his shirts and had his bumper stickers. He unfortunately lost. He ran a good race and tried and that is what mattered. Good Job, Matt! We are so very proud of you.

The most contested race was that for President. This year we had Donald Trump for the RepublICANs and Hillary Clinton for the DemocRATS. There were so many times we heard about machines malfunctioning or incidences of violence. After 2:30 a.m., Donald Trump was announced the winner of the Presidential race. He gave a really good speech and so did Hillary Clinton the next day around 11:30 a.m. All told, I am glad that the race is over and I am sorry for those whose candidate didn't win, but this is the will of the people and there had been a record turn out for voting. Now, it is time to pray for peace for our country and pray that Donald Trump listens and does the right thing.

Every year about 2 weeks before this day, people are so tired of the nastiness of the elections that they are begging for people to be nice to each other, as we are all one people, people of the US. People unfriended friends on FB as they disagreed with their thoughts on the candidates and the anger was palpable.

I am just back into my emails and my patterns and my projects. I just want to get the WIPs finished.
