If making this for a small child(ren) then use fabric paints to paint on a clown face. If you are making for an older child or adult decoration you can attach “googly” eyes and pompom nose and felt mouth with glue gun. But it is much more fun to paint on a face.

  1. My 14 yr old granddaughter asked me to make the clown she had as a baby. This looks perfect! Thanks! Thanks from Maddie too!

    1. Hi Ravenwing, I am glad that this will help you make a gift for your granddaughter. When it comes to the face it can whatever you want it to be or even just get items for the face and let her decorate it. When I made these they were always for babies and toddlers and I used safe fabric paints that wouldn't harm a child.
