Reading and Knitting and Crochet, Oh My

It has been awhile since I last updated my lists, so I guess I had better. I did finish a knit item and a crochet item that was not on the list.

A friend and her daughter had decided to help another friend and make him a matador costume for the Kenton County Fair Spanish Competition on Saturday. They came to a problem. The cape was pink and I gave them the witch's cape that we had from a past Halloween. It was red on one side and black on the other. They needed a matador's hat. I said I would try, no guarantees. There are no patterns for a matador's hat anywhere to be found and I did not write this up as the bumps on the side were not great. But it happened and she is happy with the hat.

WIPS (reordered due to what is on needles and what I want to make):
1. Blue Prayer shawl - 2 finished. One for cousin and one for her daughter.
